Ingredients:
Rice (we used 10 lbs.)
Food dye
Vinegar
Sugar cubes
Styrofoam half circles and flat circles
Arctic animals--we got ours from Hobby Lobby
Directions:
First dye the rice to the desired color. We put some rice in a gallon Ziploc bag and added a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and some food coloring until we got the right color. Then we put the rice in the container and left it out for a bit to dry. Once the rice was dyed, we just added in some sugar cubes, Styrofoam pieces and the animals. We also added in a paper towel roll to let the penguins slide down.
