Mommy & Me Sensory (Ages 12-24 months)
Wednesdays: February 4th – April 29th (9:30-10:30 am)
Moms bring your little ones to this group to learn, explore, and grow. Therapists have developed specifically designed activities to promote gross motor and fine motor skills, social play, and sensory development.
Throughout the group, therapists will provide strategies for you to continue developing skills at home specific to your child’s needs.
If you are looking for a group that will not only encourage development, but also focus on your child’s individual goals, this group is for you.
Munch and Crunch Lunch (Ages 3 – 5 years)
Fridays: February 6th – May 1st (12:00-1:00 pm)
Join us at lunch as we create and taste new fun food to help diversify your child’s diet! Your child will enjoy his meals with friends and have fun trying new foods!
Afternoon Snack Food Critics (Ages 7 – 10 years)
Fridays: February 6th – May 1st (3:30-4:30 pm)
This group will have members taste new snack options each week and write a blog about it. This group offers a unique blend of feeding, social skills, language and reading comprehension allowing children to bring different strengths to the group.
Make and Take Sensory Coach (Ages 5 years and older)
Fridays: February 6th – May 1st (1:15-2:15 pm)
This group is designed to assist families with carrying over clinical strategies at home. The group will include a parent education portion as well as clinical observation of the children utilizing specific sensory tools. While parent education is being completed, children will be participating in activities designed to assist with self-regulation.
Express Yourself (Ages 5 – 8 years)
Wednesdays: February 4th – April 29th (1:00-2:00 pm)
This group is a combination of many expressive arts activities to help your child become more confident in social situations and feel good about himself. The group will include yoga, arts and crafts, and communication regarding confidence and emotions.
**An intake assessment will be required for children not already attending Leaps and Bounds to ensure all of the children will receive maximum benefit from their group.**
